Brian Maurer
President
Brian is the President of Brian-Kyles and joined the company in 1996. He has recently taken over the reins from his father, Brian-Kyles founder, Doug Maurer. Brian is a Landscape Industry Certified Technician in Hardscape and Softscape Installation, is a Licensed Ohio Pesticide Applicator, and has a degree in Landscape Horticulture from The Ohio State University. He is driven to the growth of the company and dedicated to streamlining business operations by spearheading existing challenges. When he’s not in the office, Brian enjoys camping with his family and spending time outdoors.
Chris McGhee
Account Manager
Chris joined the BK Team in 2025 and loves that no 2 days are the same!
Chris enjoys anything outdoors and loves the collaboration that comes with this role. Meeting clients, designing installs, and pushing the boundaries of what our team is capable of are just some of the rewarding activities Chris spearheads.
When not at work, Chris enjoys spending time with his family, being involved in any sport the family can play or cheer for (Go Bucks!) and trying any new restaurant around town.
Mike Walters
Landscape Design Build Project Manager
Joining the BK Team with over 40 years of Landscaping Industry experience and knowledge (including owning his own company for many years), is Mike.
He enjoys meeting with clients and hearing the "wish list" and getting to use his creativity to knock their vision up several notches to deliver a best in class final project.
When he’s not in the office, Mike enjoys time with his family (and his dog Mocha!) and anything he can do outside.

Courtney Moss
Office Manager
Courtney joined Brian-Kyles in 2025 and wears most of the "office hats" and is the friendly voice you hear when you call in! Courtney brings experience in Business Administration and had the opportunity to work in both big and small environments lending to an all around appreciation for the family-first vibe at BK. When she is not working, she can be found in the barn with her horses and dogs and spending time with her hubby.
Jill Strunk
Bookkeeper
Joining the Brian-Kyles Team with lots of financial experience is Jill. She has a knack for the details and keeps the books balanced. With a Masters in Accountancy and experience with balancing books for tax prep, we know our company is in good hands. When she’s not in the office, Jill can be found with her family or immersed in a videogame, book or craft.

Jordan Baker
Field Supervisor
Jordan joined Brian-Kyles in 2022 as a field supervisor.
Jordan has valuable knowledge and experience in both hardscape and softscape. He is also a licensed Indiana pesticide applicator.
In his free time Jordan enjoys playing guitar, riding motorcycles, playing sports, and spending time with his family.
James Hopkins
Field Supervisor
James has been a part of the BK Team for over 14 years! He makes sure all crews know when and where they are headed for jobs, making sure everyone is equipped for peak performance and making sure our quality standard is the best it can be. What does he like most about working at Brian-Kyles? He says it’s the family first mentality and that we have team collaboration all around. Outside of work, James enjoys time with his family (and dog Nova!), and relaxing with a good Netflix show.
