Fireworks are a spectacular way to celebrate the season. Don't miss our list of spectacular firework displays that are happening in Northeast Ohio. A different kind of post for us, but we want to make sure everyone has a safe and fun holiday weekend. Here’s a list of professional firework shows in Northeast Ohio for July 2021.





Avon, OH

When: Saturday, July 3 & Sunday, July 4th following the Lake Erie Crushers game

Where: Crushers Stadium 2009 Baseball Blvd, Avon, OH 44011


The city of Avon and the Lake Erie Crushers are teaming up for a fireworks show on Saturday and Sunday. Find tickets here.


Avon Lake, OH

When: Friday, July 2nd 6pm until 10pm

Where: Weiss Field 33401 Webber Rd, Avon Lake, OH 44012


The Avon lake Parks and Recreation Department presents the 2021 Party in the Park Summer Concert Series. Free to all! more info is here on Facebook


Bay Village, OH

When: Saturday, July 3rd

Where: Cahoon Memorial Park Bay Village, OH 44140


Fireworks display is scheduled for the day before Independence Day as a part of “Bay Days” More info on the city of Bay Village's website


Berea, OH

When: Sunday, July 4th 10pm

Where: Coe Lake Park, Berea, OH 44017

Cleveland, OH

When: Sunday, July 4th 8pm until midnight

Where: Downtown Cleveland


The 2021 Light Up the Lake event begins at dusk. More info on destination Cleveland's website.


Elyria, OH

When: Friday, July 2, 6:30pm

Where: West Park, 1200 Foster Avenue, Elyria, OH 44035

Lakewood, OH

When: Sunday, July 4

Lorain, OH

When: Sunday, July 4

Where: Mile Long Pier, Lake Erie, Lorain, OH 44052


Independence Day Fireworks Display for the residents and visitors of the City of Lorain to enjoy. The display is launched from the Mile-Long Pier, 301 Lakeside Avenue, on Lorain’s East Side and begins whenever the sun completely sets. (This is usually around 10 p.m.) More information on the Lorain Port Authority website.



North Ridgeville, OH

When: Saturday, July 3 6pm

Where: Victory Park Ohio 7777 Victory Ln, North Ridgeville, OH 44039


Freedom Festival, gates open at 6pm – fireworks will go off after sundown. Food & beverage options available to purchase on-site. Limited tickets available. More info here


Oberlin, OH

When: Sunday, July 4th

Where: Oberlin Recreation Complex, 225 West Hamilton Road



Strongsville, OH

When: Saturday, July 4 10pm

Where: Foltz Athletic Fields at Ehrnfelt Soccer Complex, 15659 Foltz Parkway, Strongsville, OH 44149


Strongsville will host its annual Fourth of July fireworks display at 10pm. Bring blankets or lawn chairs. Social distancing will be required. More info right here on the city of Strongsville website.


Westlake, OH

When: Saturday, July 4
